The Beecher Youth Commission welcomes adult volunteers to help with the events we host throughout the year. If you are interested in volunteering with the BYC, join us at a meeting to see how you can get involved! Meetings are held at the Beecher Village Hall on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm.
- Youth Advisors
In addition to our Commissioners, the BYC has a panel of Youth Advisors. The panel is made up of High School students, ages 16-18. Youth Advisors are a valuable asset to the Commission, providing fresh and insightful ideas to the board. Youth Advisors attend meetings, assist with planning and preparation, and help at events. Youth Advisors earn service hours for all time volunteered, including but not limited to meetings, events, planning. For more information about becoming a Youth Advisor you can email the BYC at Beecheryc@gmail.com
- High School Service Hours
Volunteering for The Beecher Youth Commission is an easy and fun way to earn your required High School or National Honor Society service hours. Any students interested in earning hours can attend a BYC meeting for more information. Meetings are held at the Beecher Village Hall the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm.
Creating memories for today’s youth in a safe and fun environment is the overall objective to our organization. Being able to provide these events at little to no cost to our residents is another key goal. With generous support from business, we will be able to continue hosting events in our community for the families of Beecher. If you would like to donate to the Beecher Youth Commission or partner on an event please contact us at Beecheryc@gmail.com.
